Hair loss is becoming a serious issue these days. This can leads to baldness if you do not take action to prevent it. you can only prevent hair loss when you know the actual cause of hair loss

Hair loss can be temporary or permanent, Temporary hair loss may occur due to some health problems like lack of nutrition, lack of protein intake, chemotherapy, use of medicines, and whether permanent hair loss may be due to genetic factors which can be prevented by some medical treatments.

Causes of hair loss are:

If you have normal hereditary hair loss, then there is no cure but treatment can help to slow or halt the hair loss.

Nutritional deficiencies can cause hair loss. If the diet that you are taking is too low in protein, vitamins, iron, can sometimes cause hair loss.

Try avoiding blow dryers or any other equipment that heats up your scalp to prevent hair loss

The most common cause of hair loss is your hair care products are having harmful chemicals

The most harmful chemicals for your hairs is SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and parabens

You should avoid shampoos and other hair products that contain harmful chemicals like SLS, parabens, Laureth Sulfate

Try using mild shampoos and conditioner with no harmful chemicals to wash your hair

NOTE: Do not use shampoo every day, using shampoo 2-3 times in a week would be fine.

Some other points to remember:

  • Avoid brushing wet hair
  • Increase protein in your diet
  • Do not use shampoo every day
