Vasoconstrictive action: Swelling occurs when blood vessels dilate more than usual. Clobetasol works by constricting the blood vessels and helps reduce swelling and redness.
Whereas the gentamicin in Clop-G Cream is an antibiotic. It blocks protein synthesis in the bacterial cell wall by binding to the 30S ribosome. As a result, it shows antibacterial action.
